Buklet

A Goodreads alternative that brings your library along

Buklet is a free app that works as a Goodreads alternative: import your export file and keep your books, reading statuses and ratings. From there it adds tools for everyday reading: progress by pages, percentage or minutes, goals, stats and spoiler-free group reads.

How to move your Goodreads library to Buklet

  1. On Goodreads, go to My Books and open Import and export.
  2. Tap Export Library and download the CSV file.
  3. In Buklet, open Imports, choose Goodreads and select the file.
  4. Buklet finds each book and creates your reads with their status and your rating.

What Buklet adds

  • Progress by pages, percentage or minutes, for print, ebooks and audiobooks.
  • Quarter-star ratings and notes for every book.
  • Buddy reads with milestones that unlock comments only when you get there.
  • Yearly, monthly or custom goals with a year-end projection.
  • Tags, ordered series and a wishlist.
  • A barcode scanner to add books in one tap.

In four languages

The app and website are available in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese, so your club can read together even without a shared language.

Do I lose anything by switching?

Exporting from Goodreads doesn't delete anything: your account stays as it is. Try Buklet with your imported library and decide at your own pace.
